INTEGRITY & TRANSPARENCY
Elected council members should not have other jobs within the county where they can use their influence as a county executive to impact the company or area where they are soliciting. Without integrity, without true transparency, without clear process, we cannot build a small, effective, efficient, and ethical county government.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Smarter management of our county roads, technology, water, sewer, and protection services (police, fire & EMS) will help alleviate congestion on major arteries, stimulate business growth in Delaware County, and create greater returns on investment for our tax dollars.
SMALL BUSINESS
Improving the county's job base through the support of small business and corporate development in our county is an important step towards reversing the stagnation that has plagued our county. Our candidates want to see county council build better partnerships with area business owners to bolster the job base.

Everything about this decision is odd. The timing is odd. The fact that less than 5% of the voters affected overall signed a petition that clearly affects everyone else is odd. The fact that when petitions were not fully explained or described incorrectly is odd. But the really odd part...this is what we've come to expect in this county, which day-by-day is looking more like the Palm Beach County, Florida of 2000 than the type of place we all pay taxes to see. A place where ethics, efficiency, accountability, and public interaction come before politics and rhetoric.
